After a severe storm damaged the roof at Mbeki Primary School, several classrooms were left exposed to the elements, disrupting lessons and putting learning at risk.

Rather than waiting for external assistance, the school and surrounding community stepped forward with a clear plan: repair the roof quickly, safely, and transparently so learners could return to a secure environment.
